Applications Basic Brilliant Blue BO can be used to dye wool, silk, and tannin-mordanted cotton fibers, though color fastness is poor across all materials. When dyeing silk, overprinting with Basic Brilliant Blue BO after initial dyeing with Direct Sunfast Green GB or Direct Lake Blue 5B yields exceptionally vivid hues unmatched by other dyes. This product is primarily used for coloring paper, bamboo, and wood products, as well as manufacturing blue ink, lakes, and staining biological and bacterial tissues.
Applications include production of ballpoint pen ink, carbonless paper, and wax-coated paper. It can also be used for coloring bamboo and wood, manufacturing lakes, and dyeing cotton, acrylic, and silk. Applications: Primarily used for coloring ballpoint pen ink, typewriter carbon paper, carbonless paper, and general paper. Also suitable for coloring bamboo and wood, and for producing color lakes.
