Serves as a highly effective polymerization inhibitor for vinyl monomers and conjugated olefins, acts as a terminator in styrene-butadiene emulsion polymerization, functions as an antioxidant for unsaturated oils, and serves as a highly effective polymerization inhibitor for vinyl monomers in conjugated olefins.
In liquid or gas phases, it serves as a highly effective end-polymerization inhibitor when end-polymerization seeds are present. It is an exceptionally superior terminator for styrene-butadiene emulsion polymerization.
It functions as an antioxidant for unsaturated oils and resins.
